Our Vision

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital was established in 1994. Since then, we’ve spent in excess of £307 million on providing free cancer care in Pakistan.

Imran Khan Cancer Appeal helps run the only cancer hospital in Pakistan, which offers free cancer treatment to patients who can’t afford it. Annually, at Shaukat Khanum Hospitals, we are able to provide free cancer treatment to 75% of our patients. Other patients, depending on their financial situation, are offered subsidised treatment.

Annually, We Provide Free Cancer Treatment to 75% of Our Patients

Last year…

  • 14,952 new cancer patients were registered at our hospitals
  • We performed 19,276 surgeries
  • We provided 69,698 chemotherapy treatments

At Imran Khan Cancer Appeal, the bulk of our spending goes into the cancer care services we provide. Patients who can’t afford treatment are offered support from the outset. We cover everything from the cost of medication and pathology to treatment and surgery.

Shaukat Khanum Hospital was established in 1994 by Pakistan’s former Prime Minister, Imran Khan. Click below to find out more about Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
